The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is participating in the activities of the Small and Medium Enterprises 2020 Virtual Forum organized by the Asharqia Chamber on Wednesday 4 November 2020, entitled "The Future of E-Commerce" under the generous patronage of the Prince of the Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, affirmed the interest of a number of government and private agencies that support and sponsor small and medium enterprises to participate in the activities of the forum, pointing to the scientific program of the forum covering many aspects that the sector benefits from in line with the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
Al-Khalidi said to the Saudi market and the transformation it is witnessing, the most prominent of several options in front of the small and medium-sized enterprises sector. Al-Khalidi indicated that the forum, whose activities are transmitted through visual communication technology, falls within the many activities undertaken by the Chamber to support the supreme national options in support of the principle of enhancing the presence of small and medium-sized enterprises in the economic scene, pointing out that the vision of the forum revolves around "promoting the transition to electronic commerce for owners of small enterprises And medium "in line with the language of the contemporary economy. Hence, the forum carries a message and a slogan represented in transforming" the concept of e-commerce for the owners of small and medium enterprises to be the main tributary for the expansion of their enterprises.
